The 2011 WSOP Europe Main Event attracted 593 entrants and created a prize pool of €5,692,800 that paid the top 64 places. The final table featured players from five countries and was filled by an extremely talented group of players including the winningest online player of all-time in Chris Moorman. Moorman would fall short in second place as American Elio Fox broke through to win his first WSOP bracelet and the €1.4 million first-place prize.
