The 51st Annual World Series of Poker was impacted severely by COVID-19 and held an online series in its place on both WSOP.com and GGPoker. To keep the annual tradition of the $10,000 buy-in Main Event ongoing, simultaneous events were held on WSOP.com and GGPoker with the final table playing out at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and King's Casino respectively. The two winners would then face-off to determine the WSOP Main Event champion for 2020.
