Dan Smith, Amnon Filippi, Chad Eveslage, Alex Livingston, Maxx Coleman, Daniel Weinman, Nacho Barbero, and Espen Jorstad struck WSOP gold for the first time. Dan Zack held off late surges from Daniel Weinman, Koray Aldemir, and Shaun Deeb to be awarded the 2022 WSOP Player of the Year title following his series, which included him winning two WSOP bracelets and cashing for more than $1.45 million.
