The 2005 WSOP Tournament of Champions was held at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip, with 114 of the greatest poker players in the world chasing the $1,000,000 first-place prize. With just 28 players remaining, the feature table is headlined by Phil Hellmuth and Mike Matusow, while they'll also have the likes of Hoyt Corkins, Chad Brown, and 2005 WSOP Main Event runner-up Steve Dannenmann to contend with. Two 10-time WSOP bracelet winners hit the rail as Johnny Chan and Doyle Brunson are both eliminated by Brandon Adams as the bubble bursts, and the final table of nine is set with Hellmuth finishing as the chip leader.
