The 2012 WSOP National Championship attracted 157 entries and created a prize pool of $1.57 million. Andy Hwang held the chip lead ahead of Matt Keikoan, Sam Stein, Ryan Eriquezzo, Nik Stone, Huy Nguyen, Amanda Musumeci, and David "ODB" Baker as eyes were on the $416,051 first-place prize.
