The 2013 WSOP National Championship was held in Harrah's New Orleans and attracted 127 entries and created a prize pool of $1.27 million. Brock Parker entered the final table as the chip leader ahead of Jeremy Ausmus, Max Steinberg, Jonathan Hilton, Bob Panitch, Nicolas Vaca-Rondon, Joe Tehan, and John Bowman as eyes were on the $355,599 first-place prize.
